Toma-Toad declares bankruptcy after a boycott campaign caused them to lose too much money.

After reporters at The New Glabe Gazette discovered the company’s overuse of fertilizer was causing an algal bloom in the Ailsa River and killing fish, a huge protest was organized on the day of Queen Charlotte’s coronation. Since then, citizens across the country have been refusing to purchase any Toma-Toad products, some even resorting to making their own tomato sauces from scratch.

The company tried its best to get their customers back. Swearing to reduce the amount of fertilizer used on their farms and try new more eco-friendly farming methods. But alas, consumer trust in the company has already been shattered. And now Toma-Toad will be no more.

No longer will that cute little toad hop into our pantries, our lives, and our hearts.
