Freed from the shackles of a 9-to-5, Tatterdemalion puts aside pretending to be someone zie's not, and takes instead to her true passion: acting on-stage.

Their remarkable performance in some of Wouldiwas Shookspeared's classic plays goes remarked-upon by many a critic, and keen watchers of the Princess of the Dragons prequel trilogy will note the familiar face, albeit adorned by a newly-acquired goatee (the subject of more than a few emphatic comment threads), of Handservant #25.

Tatterdemalion need not pick up crosswords again, because he never puts them down. Every so often, an empty grid and a fresh list of distinctively-written clues manifests, as though by some occult hand, on the desk of Lani Gray, Interim Puzzles Head. Even more infrequently, employees at the Gazette exchange hushed whispers about the suit-jacketed, cravat-wearing apparition who lingers about the office on the occasion of a birthday celebration.
