When and Where

Scoop! will take place over 6 Uptimes from 7-10pm on the Tuesdays of 1st through 6th Week, Trinity term 2025. Uptimes are in-person sessions of live action roleplay, and will take place at Christ Church College; players will meet outside the Porters' Lodge a few minutes in advance of the start, to be led to the room by a GM.

Additionally, there will be a hybrid online and in-person character creation session on the evening of Tuesday Week 0, where players can ask questions and discuss ideas before designing their characters, and a debrief session on Tuesday Week 7 after the game has ended.

Between Uptimes, players will be invited to submit a Turnsheet explaining what their character gets up to in the time before the next session. For more information, consult Downtime and Turnsheets. The deadline for Turnsheet submissions is 6pm on Wednesday, the day after Uptime. Turnsheets should be submitted on the wiki, through your private player page.

While applying to join Scoop!, there are three key dates to be aware of. An optional character creation session will be held from 7-10pm on 22/04/25, the Tuesday of 0th week. Players will be able to join either in-person or online, through the game's Discord server, in order to ask questions or discuss ideas before designing their characters. You may submit a character for the game without having attended the character creation session.

Two deadlines follow. First, the ballot for entry will close at 12 noon on the Thursday of 0th week, 24/04/25. This is where you can register your interest for the game, after which the GMs will publish a list of those who have made it in. Secondly, character submissions are expected by 12 noon on the Friday of 0th week, 25/04/25, in order to give the GMs time to consider them before the game begins.
