Dear Mom,
I know you thought my job search meant that I’d be coming home, and I’m sorry to disappoint. But I’ve been offered a wonderful opportunity. Avery Damask (the movie star? I got an autograph for your birthday) got me in contact with some of their fashion contacts, and they’ve offered me a job! I’ll be working on runway set design for Altona Price’s next show. Isn’t it exciting??
I really am sad to leave the Gazette – I’ve made such wonderful friends there! And Alon’s been training a great cohort of photojournalists. But that made my job so much easier, it got boring! I’m looking forward to trying something new.
