======The Celebrity and Style Department====== > No. I expect you to treat your work with the severity it requires. You're not writing features or watching eight-hour livestreams from Parliament, but you hold in your hand a deadly weapon. It can make them, or it can unmake them. Katherine Fletcher, Editor of the Celebrity and Style department. =====Celebrity===== Stylish. Tacky. In. Dated. Hit. Miss. They aren't exactly big words, but perhaps that's why they hold such power. Everyone understands the language of fame and fashion, and everyone --- from the up-and-coming reality star doing a photoshoot and interview to the royal caught in the midst of marital scandal --- knows what it can do to them. Life in the Celebrity and Style department can be strange. One week, you're doing award-winning photography at the investiture of Charlotte, Princess of Ovind. The next you're nursing your fifth coffee as the sun rises over the car park outside a hotel hoping to catch evidence of some singer or another's affair. =====Style===== {{ :photographers.jpeg?330|}} Everyone knows that celebrities would be much more boring to talk about without fashion. And the Royals would be much less regal without all of their finery and expensive clothing. That’s why the style subsection of the celebrity and style department is so important. Here at The New Glabe Gazette we cover everything essential; current trends, celebrity looks, fashion failures, and tips to help the everyday citizen look their best. If you want to spot the writers working for Style, just look for the best dressed people in the room. Or ask Nova, they know everything about fashion and style. ===== Relevant NPCs (At the Gazette) ===== ^ Name ^ Pronouns ^ Description ^ |Katherine Fletcher|she/her|Head of the Celebrity and Style Department.
